I've been looking forward to refreshing this idea for contemporary times!
I decided to launch the chocolate subscription box now because when I give talks and tours and bring chocolate to sample from among the amazing brands Ibroker, people ask "Where can I buy this chocolate?" Depending on where my talk is or where they live, I often have to answer something like "Nowhere within a 300 mile radius." That's not an answer that I like to give, or that anyone likes to hear!
Or, a chocolate lover or gift buyer could go to each dear chocolate maker's website, or the website of a retailer that carries that brand and sells online, and order individual bars, plus pay for shipping in some cases. But that takes time, and knowledge of the brands, and isn't always convenient for the chocolate lover, or indeed for the chocolate maker, depending on the size of the maker's operations or of the order.
So I'm launching the chocolate subscription box and curating top bars, for top chocolate lovers like you.
